An adopted group letter supporting Nora’s infrastructure-before-growth rule, full sheriff funding, and property-tax target with named sources. The letter also requires a clinic-and-outreach transition plan before county health reductions take effect.

June 5 · Post the bridge detour before the closure

The Old Mill Road bridge item has been open long enough that residents should see the closure window and detour before repair week, not after the first overnight closure. The final record should include the scope and closeout cost.
May 2 · Keep the original estimate in the row

When a capital estimate changes, do not replace the original number in the worksheet. Put the original and current estimates next to each other with a date. Otherwise a project can appear to finish “on budget” only because the starting point disappeared.
March 17 · Spot repair is not resurfacing

The spring list says spot repairs for Talley Ridge Road. That may be the work Public Works can complete this season, but the record should not later describe it as full resurfacing. Residents are still asking about shoulders, visibility, and the blind curves.
February 12 · The 7.8 percent number needs a label

The countywide assessment base grew 7.8 percent. That is not the change for every property and not automatically the change in a tax bill. Budget presentations should put the label beside the number every time it appears.
